We are writing to express our warmest thanks and gratitude for the commitment and dedication which you have shown to the vulnerable members of our communities.
This has been an extremely challenging time for everyone in our society, not least for all our vulnerable residents who need all of our care and support. In our experience, Lincolnshire always rises to a challenge and comes together in times of need. Once again you have all shown this to be true in the way you have responded.
We are aware of how hard you and your staff teams have been working to care for the people who need our support; we see and hear great stories of dedication every day. All areas of the county and every provider have their own good news to share and as a result we wanted to give our personal thanks and admiration for each and every member of your team working to keep people safe.
We also want to mention the families behind many of our frontline workers and express our gratitude to them for supporting their loved ones to care for others during this time. Working in social care is a vocation for many staff, who have made sacrifices to their own family lives so that they can continue to care for others.
As always, we are extremely proud of the way care in Lincolnshire has responded, as well as humbled by the stories of dedication and commitment. On behalf of Lincolnshire County Council and all our staff, we wanted to say THANK YOU to you all.
Yours sincerely
Councillor Mrs Patricia Bradwell OBE
